It was on 16th November, 1999 that I joined as student in the ACL English language course. Before I joined the ACL course, I was very weak in English. My self-esteem was low in the presence of people who spoke fine English. I was also worried as I had taken up a job as a lecturer in Business Management.
My desperation drove me to enroll for the ACL English language course, and I believe that is one of the best decisions I have made in my life.
ACL changed my whole personality. I was filled with confidence. I was provided practice in Public Speaking at the institute where I had to address the class when it was my turn to practice. All these opportunities with real time feedback from my classmates and the ACL instructors, helped me improve my reading, writing and speaking skills in the English language. Today I confidently deliver my lectures in fluent English to my class of more than seventy students.
I am recommending the ACL course to all my friends and students who are weak in the English language. ACL has good culture and maintains discipline. This ensures that the course objectives are met and the student gets his money’s worth for enrolling in the ACL English language course.

I think the main goal of ACL is to help its students develop an all round personality. To achieve this ACL incorporates other training programs apart from teaching English. In its English language course ACL not only teaches grammar, pronunciation and creative writing apart from insisting on recommended reading but also conducts personality development training programmes like Time Management, Grooming and Etiquette. ACL also encourages us to participate in Group Discussions and Public Speaking to build the student’s confidence.
ACL also conducts outdoor activities like interacting with prisoners in Jail, doing charitable acts like donating clothes to slum dwellers, etc.
The teachers at ACL are very helpful and always willing to help even if a student is facing personal problems.
The infrastructure at ACL is very good and the audio-video equipments are effectively used. |

My time at ACL was exceptional. Having completed the course I still gravitate towards my institute whenever I get time. It continues to enrich me. My time at ACL proved to be an experience. The English course and the value added courses like EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION, PUBLIC SPEAKING, PANEL DISCUSSIONS removed all my hesitation and diffidence.
In the 2 PM club the mind testing and vocabulary enhancing games like Spellathon, Scrabble, Spill ‘n spell greatly enriched me.
